Are the tickets refundable?

Tickets to The Heart Conference are non-refundable. If you purchase a ticket and are no longer able to attend, it is your responsibility to find someone else to purchase the ticket from you. What Covid-19 precautions will there be?

Our plan is to abide by the guidelines of the venue and the city of Nashville. At this time, masks are optional in Nashville, but we will evaluate COVID protocol closer to the event. We've postponed the conference twice due to the pandemic because we didn't feel that we could safely host an in-person event until now. You are welcome to wear a mask if that personally makes you feel more comfortable attending.

Is this conference just for entrepreneurs?

The speakers' talks and content taught will be catered to small business owners of all stages of business. However, if you don’t have a business yet but are wanting to in the future, you’re absolutely still welcome and will get a TON out of the conference!
Can we purchase tickets for a friend or family member?

There is a limit of one ticket per transaction purely because we need each ticket to be associated with a specific name and email address for attendee email communication before the conference as well as admission into the conference. If you want to purchase a ticket for a friend you will need to purchase it separately from your own, putting in their name and email address when you do so.

We also saw a handful of “content days” that focused on helping photographers build their portfolios. Both are fantastic. Hey there! We’re Lindsey & Evie, the founders of The Heart University. We’re two 6-figure destination wedding photographers, 7-figure serial entrepreneurs, business educators, and podcasters. Our hearts beat to see people stepping into their God-given callings, living their lives to the fullest, and leaving a legacy they only dreamed of.
We created the Heart Workshop to encourage, inspire, and empower YOU. We both started our photography journeys in roughly 2015. Lindsey was in Kansas, Evie in Ohio. Within a period of about 2 years, our businesses EXPLODED from a tiny little side hobby with starter cameras to two 6-figure global destination photography businesses. We’ve shot everywhere in the world from Italy, Germany, New Zealand, Mexico, Panama, Hawaii, allllll over the US, (like ALL over) served hundreds of raving clients, and trained over 4,500 entrepreneurs and photographers in how to build and scale their own successful businesses as well.

"In 2019 I said yes to myself and my business when I invested in a ticket to The Heart Workshop. Little did I know I would be saying yes to a handful of other aspects of my life when I walked through the doors to meet the other attendees and Lindsey and Evie. With my specialty being Family Photography, I wasn't certain that I would 'fit' knowing my niche was likely different from the rest, but it didn't take long for that assumption and fear to be smashed. Not only was I able to learn (family photography is entirely applicable when they are speaking specifically about couples photography), I was able to gain so much clarity for the business side of things. We really dove deep into the nitty gritty of workflow, pricing, social platforms, client experience, and the list goes on and on...I still find myself referring to the notes I took.
There is something magical about being in a room full of other like-minded creatives who are looking to grow not only as an entrepreneur, but a human trying to make a difference in the world and serve your clients/people well. We broke through so many barriers together and supported each other as we voiced our trials and triumphs. I cried, I laughed, I danced, I made friendships that still hold true to this day and more than anything I left that workshop with my head held higher than ever and my heart overflowing with so much excitement for the future of my business. Without a doubt those days together with Evie and Lindsey set my business on fire and I give so much credit to The Heart for where I am today. Freakin' thriving, baby! All ticket sales are non-refundable. In the event that something comes up and you can no longer attend, you are responsible for selling your ticket to another female photographer. If you are unable to attend and cannot find someone to buy your ticket, you are still responsible for the entire ticket amount. Please make sure you are 100% able to attend and aware of this policy before purchasing a ticket.

Do you offer solo room/bed tickets?

Each workshop and venue is different per workshop. For our Upstate New York workshop at Lundy Farm, we have BOTH shared and solo bed tickets options available. Based on the layout of the house, a solo bed doesn't always mean a solo room, but if you purchase a solo bed ticket, you will be guaranteed a bed to yourself, even if your room is shared!

Moving forward we only have plans to host one Heart Workshop a year. The next Heart Workshop will not be until 2025, so if you're needing serious help with your photography business, don't wait what could be up to 2 a total of years from now before attending this workshop. We want YOU in the room!

In the 150+ girls (and dozenssss of introverts) we’ve had come through our workshops, we’ve never had a single one walk away feeling like they didn’t just meet a group of lifelong friends. We set up the workshop in a way that’s VERY focused on creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for every single person and personality style. On top of that, we have an exclusive Workshop Facebook group where you can meet and connect with girls ahead of time AND we’re hosting a Zoom happy hour before the workshop where all us girls can get to know each other. Let’s put this into perspective. $3500 is the price of roughly ONE (mayybee 2) wedding bookings. Let’s say you come to this workshop, utilize the 4 portfolio galleries you walk away with, implement even a few of the business strategies you learn, and book 2 weddings as a result. You’ve instantly made back your investment. But we promise… if you implement what you learn, your business will EXPLODE. Don’t just listen to us though, read all the reviews all over this page or even reach out to a past workshop attendee to ask about their personal experience. Our girl Carmen, one of our Palm Springs Workshop attendees told us: “Ummm... You guys... I've booked 5 weddings for 2024 since coming home from the workshop [2 months ago]. NO! There is NOTHING worse than a styled shoot like this. To avoid that, we’ve spent quite a bit of time crafting a completely unique styled shoot system that allows you to shoot in smaller groups. PLUS have one-on-one time with the models to pose and direct them yourself and get the BEST shots and angles. We’ve had such amazing feedback on this system from our past workshop attendees. Not to brag, but they’ve said it’s the best system they’ve ever seen. ;)

We TOTALLY get the nerves around traveling alone! That’s why we’ve created a few different resources to help make this as stress-free as possible for you. Once you’ve purchased your ticket, you can join our Heart Workshop FB group and connect with fellow attendees to travel together, meet up in the airport, share a rental car, carpool with a local girl, etc! The ideal candidate for the workshop is a photographer who has been in business (even a hobby or side business) for at least one year. But that’s just a helpful metric because at the end of the day if you’re a photographer who is ready to uplevel your business, tuck dozens of tried and true business strategies in your toolbelt, get a hefty dose of encouragement, inspiration, and deep, life changing friendships.. “Soo this is 2018. I was still working my full-time job. I was around $40,000. So I never made more than $3,000 a month. Which is, you know, whatever. It’s money. That’s a good amount of money. That’s a good income you can make. So this year, in 2023, I’m projecting to make closer to $200,000. I went from making about $3,000 a month to like I guess probably an average of $10,000 a month. I’ve had a lot of months that are like $18,000.
My biggest package at the time in 2018 was $3200. Everything and the moon is included in it. I was probably making .25 cents an hour. And now my packages range from $6,000 to $15,000.”
