Are you ready for a juicy episode?!?! If you’ve been around here for any length of time you probably know that we’re multi-passionate entrepreneurs who have a handful of different businesses. You also have probably heard us talking about multiple streams of income. Well, today, we’re about to spill the TEA and give you a never-before-shared peek into our personal revenue streams and how we make money.

This episode is not just a tea-spill, but ideally, it’ll give you ideas, encouragement, and new ways you can view business, and investments, and diversify your revenue streams.

 

Before we begin

This list of income streams has been built over 5-7 years of time. It didn’t start all at once. It didn’t happen overnight either. Our goal has always been to grow slowly and add more streams of income over time. We wanted to do this episode in an effort of transparency to kind of pull back the curtain to see a look into not only The Heart University but also how both we make money in our careers. 

 

How we make money:

The Heart University

• Courses: live launches, evergreen funnels
• In-person events: conferences, workshops, etc.
• Digital products: The Heart Shop- resources, etc. 
• Podcast Ads
• Affiliate Kickbacks
• Social Media Collaborations

Photography: we have scaled it back a lot since we started. 

Coaching: on our personal, this is our primary. 

Speaking events

Collaborations: small businesses or companies paying us to share their product on social. 

Investments: stocks, real estate, and more. 

EvieSwim: although all of that is reinvested back into that company & won’t be pulled out of the company for a while. 

Digital products: presets, etc. 

Affiliate kickbacks: Reward Style, Amazon Influencer Program, etc. 

Instagram Bonuses: it’s not rolled out to everybody, but is a way for Instagram to pay you directly for Reels. 

We still very much feel like we’re in the place of trying to expand and diversify our revenue streams. We’re actively taking steps daily to continue to diversify even more. The ultimate goal is to get to a place where we could stop “working” altogether and have enough passive, silent income to be able to survive. Essentially, replacing our monthly expenses with passive revenue, so we have flexibility in life & work (and just in case a business ever closed for whatever reason!)
