In case you missed the big news a couple weeks ago, Evie and Landon and are moving!! Across the country!! To the same town that Lindsey and her husband Andrew just moved to!!! AAAHHH!!!!

 

So today we’re giving you the TEA. The inside scoop, on our thoughts about this big life update! We cover a DEEP DIVE of why Evie is moving, what led to that decision, their different perspectives on the moment when things really began to shift towards florida, what being neighbors will look like, what we’re each most excited about, how it might affect The Heart and moreeeee.

 

Why

We have always anticipated moving somewhere to put down roots in the family season of life. Basically having the community to village raise our kids. Evie always assumed that it was going to be Ohio first, where all of her family is at. For six years they have never settled on one place but have left it up to God and when that season comes they knew God would show them what to do. From the minute that the clock turned to 2022 God started moving pieces to Florida. We got kicked out of our dream house that we had been living in for a year, when we moved into the beach house we still felt like this house has never felt like home. There was confirmation after confirmation on Florida. 

 

How it Started 

When Lindsey told Evie when they were moving to Florida the number of humidity jokes and hurricane jokes that came her way…sooo many. But then at the conference, Chelsea was there, Landon, Evie, Lindsey, and Andrew and behind the scenes, Landon was talking to Chelsea and Andrew a lot about moving to Florida. One night after the conference Landon turned to Evie and said “I think we should move to Florida”. And Evie’s response was peace and confirmation that that was the right move for them. 

 

Most Excited About

We are thinking about doing a video for the podcast with us together. Lindsey has a large office that they might create a fun wall and with two chairs and filming it officially when we record. The reels that we can record together? Everything on the work side of things just got a million times easier. We are also so excited for the friend side. We have to work very hard in some ways to have a friendship outside of work. Every time we talk it’s easy to talk about work and not know how each other’s hearts are.
