A rough idea of our daily routines in a typical work week! We want to preface that every single person is in a different season of life, and has different capacities, demands on their time, priorities, etc! So this episode is us sharing an average day in our life, but it is by no means the pinnacle of perfection for the world at large.
Evie’s Routine:
5:30am – wake up
5:45am – breakfast
6am – workout/gym
7:15am – shower & dress for the day
7:45am – Jesus time

9am – start work (typically deep work for 90 minutes)
10:30am – check emails
11am – shallow work (IG dms, post stories, check slack, etc)
12pm – lunch
1pm – Deep work again (a bigger project I’m focused on – ex: editing, writing blog posts, podcasting, etc)
2:30pm – check slack & emails
3pm – Shallow work tasks (IG dms, stories, post or other smaller tasks needed in my day)
4:30pm – shut off work
5pm – start dinner or DIY project or head out to hang with Landon or friends.
6:30pm – dinner
7:30pm – read and/or hang with Landon
9pm – bed/lights out
Lindsey’s Routine:

9:00am – start work (typically check slack, email, and social media)
10:30am – deep work (work on a more intense project that needs to be done/needs my attention: blogging, reels creation, podcasting, approving content from team, etc..)
12:30/1pm – lunch
1:30pm – check slack, social media, & email again to respond to the team
2:00pm – back into deep work
4:00pm – end day wrapping up shallow work (social and slack mostly)
5:00pm – end work for the day and hang with girls while Andrew cooks dinner
6:00pm – dinner with family
7:00pm – girls bedtimes
7:30pm – chill, read, hang with Andrew, etc..
10:30pm – night night
Takeaways
You’ll notice even our two routines are different from each other! And we do a lot of the same work, so if that tells you anything let it be this: every single person is unique and operates and functions differently. So don’t feel like you HAVE to copy someone else’s routines and that they HAVE to work for you since they work for them. Experiment. Test things out. Find what works really well for you and your lifestyle and season!
This isn’t EVERY day. As entrepreneurs, we roll with the punches. We have more flexibility than typical 9-5 jobs. Sometimes we don’t work at all. Sometimes we play hooky and go to the beach. On our Thursdays (where we have meetings) we’re typically in meetings from 9 am-5 pm, so most of that workday schedule is totally different!
Figure out when you do the best deep work. You’ll notice Evie starts her day with deep work whereas Lindsey starts hers with shallow work. Figure out what works best for you and your brain. Do you work better getting the meat and potatoes of your day done first? Or do you need to handle all the little loose ends first BEFORE diving into a big project? That answer is different for everyone so figure out how YOUR personality works best and structure your day’s schedule around it.
We also HIGHLY recommend planning your weekly work/life schedule Sunday or Monday morning. If you’re single do this yourself, if you’re married then do it together with your spouse. But having a weekly game plan heading into the week is life-changing for your sanity and productivity vs. just waking up every day, and opening your computer with NO game plan.
