If you’ve followed us and this podcast for any stretch of time you probably know that we are extroverts. We love sharing stories. We love sharing our lives on the internet via Instagram or this podcast. We’re very open with a lot of our lives, and therefore if you’ve followed us for a while you probably know a good chunk of stuff. That said, there’s a lot you don’t know as well. Today we are sitting down and sharing 3 things each that we’ve never shared publicly or in-depth before. 

 

Lindsey:

1. Disney: Lindsey was in the Disney college program. Was a character performer and was friends with Mickey, Minney, Donald, and all the furry short ones. 

2. First Kiss: Lindsey technically has two, her first actual kiss was a stage kiss when she was 16 years old. It was for the Hunchback of Notre Dame and she was Esmerelda. 

Her first real kiss was with her first boyfriend, but they weren’t dating and they were at Lindsey’s house playing video games and they made a bet that if she wins, he had something special for her. He clearly let her win and he said “Close your eyes”. Then he took her hand and lead her outside her bedroom into her living room and he spins her around ten times. Her eyes were still closed and he came in to kiss her after the spins.  

3. Max Pen Pal Story: Basically in high school, senior year, Lindsey went to a Christian conference in Tennessee. Lindsey met this boy from Washington (Seattle), his name was Max. Lindsey was heart eyes from the start. They were Facebook friends but Lindsey thought it would be fun to be pen pals. He agrees to be pen pals and for the next couple of years they are pen pals, but they also have each other’s numbers and are Facebook friends, so there were other forms of communication. 

The crush was so hard. She was pining from afar, listening to Taylor Swift. His parents worked for an airline so he could fly for free, so finally he came to visit Lindsey in Kansas. Lindsey then went to Seattle in December with a gifted trip from her mom for her birthday. Two nights before she left, they finally kissed. Then they had a very mature/not mature conversation about being just friends but can’t date because they live so far away from each other. Randomly he calls Lindsey and tells her that he has met this girl at his college that he likes and his friends want him to date her. Lindsey was heartbroken, but they were never actually dating. 

 

Evie:

1. Gloria & Grace: Evie’s parents had two identical twins when Evie was four years old. They were both special needs and the absolute joy of their lives. They both had health issues and were in and out of the NICU for a lot of their lives. Grace passed away from heart issues when she was two and a half months old. Gloria lived to be two and a half and was such a blessing and miracle. Grace’s death was foreseen but Gloria’s death was a shock. 

2. First Kiss: Evie’s first kiss was with her husband, Landon. He is her first everything. It was way back in 2017, Evie was 19 and they met ministry school in Northern California. Evie was saving herself for a serious relationship, she wanted to get to know each other before adding in the physical elements. Started holding hands two weeks into dating, and kissing lasted two months. They went on a hike to shoot a product session for a hammock company.  In the end, they were sitting in the hammock side by side looking over the view. Landon turns to me and goes “I really would like to kiss you, would it be okay”. Evie said sure and he leans in and it was so magical and romantic. 

3. The Study- Underage: Evie visited Lindsey in Hawaii and they went out to Honolulu for dinner and tried to get into The Study which is a library-themed bar. Evie hands the guy the real ID that shows she is underage and lets her in. Evie is the only single one in their group, and a bunch of guys starts coming up to the group and every single girl with her directs the guys to Evie. An aggressive amount of guys hit on Evie, given that she was wearing a grandma dress.
