In 2024

People are over hustle. There’s been a HUGE cultural shift in the entrepreneurial space that we’ve noticed over the last year, but it’s THE trend in 2024. It slowly started to happen in 2023 but now in 2024, it is in vogue. 

Sourdough baking, homesteading, homeschooling, homemaking, knitting, DIYing, gardening, etc. ALL have been around since the literal beginning of time yet we’ve seen a HUGE uptick in these things coming to the forefront of what’s trendy in our culture. 

Stems from what we think is a pendulum swing away from girl boss culture, hustle, and burnout. People are tired. 

Women specifically are rediscovering their femininity 

• Gardening
• Modestly dressing
• Baking
• homeschooling

Breaking news: men and women are different. It’s so true. If it’s never been more true than this year but it’s always been true. 

 

Burnout triggered/catapulted it

Business standpoint: people are so over webinars, and courses, we know the game everyone’s playing. People know what to expect and they know what’s coming. Limiting screen time (unfollowing tons of accounts). Eliminating noise and chaos. Covid was the catalyst for much of this – it accelerated this shift faster.
