Today is a fun conversation, if you’ve been a long-time follower or listener this is a follow-up to an episode where we talked about down-shifting the heart. We’re having an honest and real girl chat on how it’s been going with working very limited. Open, vulnerable, candid, let’s go! 

How’s life been since the downshift

We changed from every Monday having a meeting to the last Monday of the month. We stopped doing new things, we’re not doing conferences, etc. What stayed was the podcast and we still do photography workshops. When we downshifted the heart we both picked up a little more in our photography and coaching.  

 

What does our daily/weekly/monthly work for the heart now

We only work one day a week really and for all business, we only work about two days a week. It is hard but you have to limit what you want to do. You have to be strategic about how you spend your time. We mainly spend time with our photography and coaching students.

How do we feel about it

This downshift has been all God and so good. There has been so much fruit from it. We see how much it has impacted ourselves and our husbands and kids is so beautiful. There is so much value to being a homemaker and mom in the house. You can still find meaning and value in yourself.
